Do you prefer a more casual environment where you can just approach students and ask them questions?
Join our Let's Talk Engineering sessions. No formal presentation, just great conversations. Ends November 30.

Are you interested in hearing from alumni or faculty regarding special topics in engineering?
Check out our Virtual Speaker Series. New topics will be introduced each month. Past event topics included: Diversity: Driving the Future of EngineeringEngineer to Entrepreneur and Engineering in Emergencies.

On Wednesday, December 15, 5-6:30pm EST, join our esteemed alumnae, Rita Marty and Jim Taylor, along with engineering professor, Wade Trappe, as they discuss the challenges of ensuring secure networking systems in our digital world. REGISTER HERE!

Book an appointment with one of engineering ambassadors. Read their bios to see who you would want to meet on zoom and chat for 15-25 minutes. Appointment options are based on the individual ambassador’s availability. Ends December 10.

Engineering Walking Tour
Fridays, October 1 through November 19, 1-3PM EST

The engineering student ambassadors are excited to show you where they live, learn, and have formed lifetime friendships. Each walking tour will start with a panel of students with various backgrounds and majors. Then you will take an 80-minute walking tour of the engineering quad, while you hear about the undergraduate programs, student leadership opportunities, career prospects and more.

Each visiting student can bring up to 2 guests. The student will register with his/her name and add their guest names in the subsequent fields. All tour guests MUST be registered before arrival to campus. Masks must be worn if entering any Rutgers Campus building- regardless of vaccination status - so please come prepared.

School Overview & Engineering Majors Info Session
Select Tues, Wed, Thurs, Oct 13 through Nov 18, 5-6:30PM EST

Learn more about our undergraduate curricula, research centers, faculty, and undergraduate opportunities. Sessions will start with a School of Engineering overview and go over application details. Each date will feature different department pairs to give you a deeper look at our unique attributes and points of intersection. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.

We will be participating in the Rutgers Admissions Undergraduate Virtual Showcase on Columbus Day, Monday, October 11 and NJEA Teacher Convention Day, Thursday, November 4. We invite you to learn more about Rutgers Engineering through our School Overview and Student Panel. This session includes an overview of Rutgers School of Engineering, our application and admission process, and the student experience.

Let's Talk Engineering
Select Tues & Weds, October 27 through Nov 30, 8-9PM EST

Applying to colleges, financing your education, gaining relevant work experiences and building meaningful personal and professional relationships are critical considerations in the college search process. During these virtual networking events, expect to turn on your mics and cameras and interact with our students as you learn more about how they managed their college selection process and what it's like to be a student at Rutgers Engineering TODAY. Each week will focus on a different topic.

Wednesday, Nov. 17: Honors, Douglass Residential College, and Educational Opportunity Fund

​Rutgers Engineering has unique first-year communities, such as the Honors Academy, the Reilly-Douglass Living Learning Community, and the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program. Meet with ambassadors to learn about their experiences, and how these communities have helped them throughout their undergraduate studies!

Tuesday, Nov. 23: Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Campus jobs

Hear the different ways our engineering students finance their education. Meet with ambassadors to talk about their experiences with the Office of Financial Aid, scholarship opportunities and part-time work.

Sign-up for a 30-minute one-on-one zoom meeting to chat with an Engineering Ambassador about anything from classes to internships, co-ops, research, clubs, organizations, and college-life in general! Simply read through the ambassador's bios and schedule here, choose who you want to meet, and register for an appointment.
