Registration
After your first semester at the School of Engineering, you become responsible for registering for your own classes. You'll receive registration information in March. For returning students, pre-registration begins in April (for the following fall) or November (for the following Spring). You can register for classes, use the Degree Navigator to plan your program, find registration dates, academic calendars, and any other information related to registration and enrollment on the Undergraduate Student Home of the Registrar's website.
Office of the Registrar: Find Information and Register for Classes
Consult with your advisor about the required and elective courses you should take.
Honors Program Students
Tell your departmental advisor that you are in the Engineering Honors Program. All honors students should also continue in Honors Calculus, Honors Mechanics, and Honors Physics as part of their sophomore curricula. For more information, contact Dean Antoine, and visit the Honors Academy requirements page.
Scheduling and Planning
Use the University Schedule of Classes to browse schedules by school/campus, find the time for a specific class, or see a list of prerequisites or corequisites for each course.
You can build class schedule using the Course Schedule Planner (login required).
Special Registration: Pre-requisite Overrides, Special Permission Numbers (SPN), Late Add
Undergraduate students in the School of Engineering who have been issued a special permission number (SPN) beyond the add/drop date can get the course(s) a special permission number (SPN) added by submitting a request using the special registration request form. You will need to provide proof in writing of the approval from the department teaching the course.
During Add/Drop
If you were issued a SPN and do not need a prerequisite override, use WebReg to register.
Past Add/Drop
If you were issued a SPN, submit the special registration request form.
