Humanities/Social Science Electives for Engineering Students

In addition to Expository Writing and Engineering Economics, SoE students must take 12cr of electives from courses with content in the humanities and social sciences areas. It is important to note that at least 6cr out of the 12cr must have a course number of 200+ (Example: 165:201, where the department code is 165, and course number is 201). Examples of traditional, acceptable H/SS subjects include philosophy, religion, history, language, literature, fine arts, sociology, psychology, political science, anthropology, economics (micro and macro), management (such as organizational behavior), communications, business administration, and law.
