The School of Engineering welcomes transfer students to our community of learning and engagement. If you've attended a college or university after graduating from high school, you are considered as a transfer student. Each year, the School admits transfer students from other schools within Rutgers as well as colleges/universities in the US and around the world. (Please keep in mind that the School of Engineering is a full time day program. You are expected to be a full-time student. Only if there are extenuating circumstances may our students request to be part-time students)
For more information on transfer requirements and application guidelines, please visit:

Students who have been dismissed by the School of Engineering and wish to be reinstated should apply through the re-admission program.
Students who were previously undergraduates working toward a degree at Rutgers and wish to return to Rutgers for a degree in Engineering should apply through the re-enrollment program.
Students who are currently matriculating in an Engineering program at another university and wish to take engineering courses at Rutgers during the regular semesters (spring, fall) as visiting students can apply to our Non-Matric Program. Students who wish to take courses at Rutgers during the summer should apply through Rutgers Summer Session.
