Applied Sciences in Engineering

Along with the other engineering majors, the School of Engineering offers an Applied Sciences major. Applied sciences in engineering is an individualized interdisciplinary program that is not subject to professional accreditation.

Applied sciences is designed to fill a broad set of educational needs that is not covered by one of the other majors. Some possible focus areas include: packaging engineering, construction/urban planning, operations research, IT, and premed (note: a premed curriculum can be completed along with any other engineering major). Other fields may be covered to meet the special interests of engineering students.
